Applications are being received from the candidates who are the citizen of India and persons with disability in (Special Recruitment Drive) having Registration Number in the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam.
As per Rule under Directorate of Handloom & Textiles, Assam in the Standard Form of Application, as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX along with requisite mentioned below for filling up sanctioned vacant post of Grade-III.
1. Jr. Inspector/ Auditor (Coop), Handloom & Textiles, Assam
No of posts: 3 posts
(i) Blindness/ Low Vision - 1
(ii) Hearing Impaired - 1
(iii) Locomotor or Cerebral Palsy - 1
Educational and other qualification: Candidates who are interested must have Bachelor Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce from recognized University, or any examination declared equivalent by the Govt.
Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 49,000/- and Rs. 7,400/- (GP) in Pay Band–2 Per Month.
2. Demonstrator, H & T
No of posts: 10 posts
(i) Blindness/ Low Vision - 3
(ii) Hearing Impaired - 4
(iii) Locomotor or Cerebral Palsy - 3
Educational and other qualification: Candidates who are interested must have H.S.L.C. passed, or the equivalent examination passed and 2 (two) years certificate course in Textile Technology or Handloom Technology from any recognized Institute or Certificate Course from the Handloom Training Institutes of the Department of Handloom & Textiles, Assam.
Pay: Rs.14,000 - Rs. 49,000/- and Rs. 6,200/- (GP) in PB - 2
The Eligibility, Requisites, procedures, terms & conditions, etc. are given below.:
1.Candidates must be Citizen of India within the meaning of Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
2. The Candidates who are interested must be of age in between 18 years and 43 years as on 1st Jan' 2017. But, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ ST candidates as per Government OM No. ABP06/2016/04, dated 3rd March 2016.
3. The Candidates who applying for the above posts must have qualified the prescribed minimum qualification mentioned above.
4. The Candidates will have to appear for the written test and viva at their own expenses if and when called for.
5. An incomplete and wrongly filled application will be rejected, and no appeal and/ or correction in that regard shall be entertained later.

e) Attested copy of valid Registration Certificates of EmploymentExchange.

8. Pension Scheme: "GovernmentServants joining the service of the StateGovt. on or after 1st Feb 05 shall not be governed by the existing Assam Services(Pension) Rules, 1969andothers issued there under from time-to-time. So far as their pension and other retirement benefits areconcerned, they will be governed by a new set of PensionRules formulated in line with the Contributory Pension scheme announced by the Govt. of India vide FinanceDeptt. Circular No.BW3/2003/pt-I/1,dated 25.01.2005".
9. No TA/DA shall be provided to the candidates for appearing the selection process.
